I used to be sporty throughout school and after I had left I completely stopped any form of exercise and physical activity. I kept saying I wanted get back into fitness but was unsure of what I wanted to do. The gym was out of the question as I found it to be boring and repetitive. I have Asthma and had it under control for a long while. Then with work, my lifestyle and becoming lazy, I noticed I started putting on a few kilos, my Asthma starting getting worse the more unfit I got. For a while I constantly talked about going to the gym or doing some exercise to get fit again... it’s really hard to get motivated, it’s even harder to stay motivated; especially when you just try by yourself.

You would think getting out of bed at 5.30am would be tough work- especially in winter, but I LOVE IT!! I can’t wait to get to training in the morning, it is always a different session, pushing different parts of our minds and bodies. Dee makes it fun, and even though we are pushing our bodies to the limit, it never feels like work.

"What would I do without tekniQ training" That's how I feel about it now, the rare days that I can’t make it due to work commitments or because I am sick, I feel upset and wish I could train, because the feeling you get once you finished a training session you just can’t beat it!!!!! You’re pumped with excitement and feel so good about yourself physically and mentally, no matter what the day has thrown at you. Nothing can beat that feeling!!

I have played sport my whole life and thought I was pretty fit until I was introduced to TekniQ by a family friend. I am into my second year of training with tekniQ and the changes it has made to my playing of sport and general life are great. I like the variety of training with a mix of both cardio & strength, every session is different which I really like.

I train as hard as I can on that day, when I’m feeling down or stress after the work out, it picks me right back up, I’m pumped and on fire again.
